Unlike yesterday you are definitely going to need your warm jacket today. A cold front blasted through late yesterday and temperatures have been falling through the night. We’re not going to recover much this afternoon, either. Afternoon temps won’t even make it out of the 20s. Factor in northwest wind gusts to between 25 and 30 mph and it’ll feel even colder. The wind will decrease late this afternoon into this evening.
The holiday weekend will be dry with a mild start. Temperatures will climb back into the low 50s by Thanksgiving day, soaring into the upper 50s on Black Friday. Another cold front will drop highs back into the 30s and 40s on Saturday and Sunday. If you’re traveling anywhere in the five state region this holiday weekend it should be smooth sailing.
