A Warm Start to the Week

After a November of mostly below-average temperatures, we are finally looking forward to a couple of nice, warm days. The southerly flow responsible for the warmer temps is also dragging in quite a bit of moisture, so it will be mostly cloudy at times today and tomorrow, but that’s not going to stop temps from soaring well into the 50s.

Today will be partly to mostly cloudy with highs ranging from the low 50s in Sioux Falls and the east to the 60s across central South Dakota. It’ll be a bit breezy along and east of I-29 this morning, but the wind will gradually decrease throughout the day.

Tomorrow will be mostly cloudy and even warmer with high temps ranging from the upper 50s to low 60s. Temperatures will drop a bit later this week but will stay close to or little above average most days. Scattered showers are possible on Friday.

The weekend will be mostly sunny and cooler with high temps in the upper 30s on both Saturday and Sunday.
